Cork Flooring
Cork flooring is a very earth friendly way to cover a surface. Cork is made from the bark of the Cork Oak Tree, and doesn't kill the tree! It can be harvested and reharvested from the same tree every nine years. Because of the natural molecular qualities of cork, it has a great acoustical quality and serves as an insulator. Cork floors are very comfortable to walk on and can be finished and cared for just like normal hardwood floors. However, it is not advised to use cork in high humidity or below grade areas because of moisture retainment.
Comes in parquet tiles, floating floor, cork rolls and underlayments. Pure natural, no off-gassing, doesn't shed micro-fibers. Sound dampening.
